The job of the Director of Development is to manage, maintain, and operate company properties, and create plans to meet corporate financial, cultural and social objectives. Working with W.H. Shipman, Ltd. for since 2005 has brought an understanding of the importance and priority of maintaining W.H. Shipman Ltd.’s relationship with the community that it has fostered for over 100 years and several generations above the priority of economic gain.

  • Responsibilities – field work that includes inspections of the following: Licensee process, common area roads, gates and locks.  Catalog lands with GPS, assist with budget preparation.  Represent the company in public meetings and forums, assist in security where needed, help with special projects, and work with the Director of Development to ensure that we are in compliance with government laws.  Provide excellent service to customers.
  • Goal Statement – Try to do the best job possible within the agriculture team and with the tools and resources available to be good stewards of the Ag Lands entrusted to the WHS company.
